Timothy Barchard, Owner, and founder of Professional Martial Arts Academy and co-founder of START Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association has been a dedicated Martial Arts practitioner for over 38 years. Professor Barchard has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in entrepreneurship and martial arts training.
Professor Barchard currently holds the rank of 8th degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a Kru (Instructor Rank) in Muay Thai under the World famous Sityodtong Muay Thai Academy, Mr. Barchard is a 3 time Sport National Karate Champion, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Masters Seniors World Champion. He has trained multiple MMA fighters and champions from the local level to the UFC. Professor Barchard has been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the World Martial Arts Federation Hall of Fame.. He has taught in and worked as a consultant in London and many locations around the United States.

He will be teaching a blend of techniques focusing on using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to maximize the use of striking.
