Koryu Uchinadi Antifragility Flow Drill

Chip will be sharing a dynamic two-person flow drill from the system of Koryu Uchinadi (old way Okinawa hand). The drill utilizes a series of open-hand techniques designed to help condition and strengthen the body while leveraging various forms of percussive impact, pushing, pulling, and seizing techniques. Movements are performed in unison with a partner whose role is to provide both resistance and physical feedback. The drill consists of 20 movements and incorporates the concepts of grabbing, pulling, swinging, striking, snaring, pressing, pushing, hooking, twisting, and checking. Practitioners who enjoy body conditioning will appreciate this unique and practical approach to strengthening the body while applying concepts and principles that underpin Okinawan kata.
